Resolved Question: Heated what would you do?
My parents gave me a kitchen table 5 years ago. They gave it to me when I bought my first place when I got married. I restored an antique table I decided to sell it at a yard sale and make some much needed cash and extra space in my garage. I stored the table in my garage for a year. I cleaned it with bleach as it was in bad shape and brought it over to a yard sale their neighbor had. My father found out that I sold it for 40$ and he wants the money for it! My father is wealthy and Im not. Im so upset about this seeing as how its almost like Indian giving. How would you feel? He wants the money for it. To me he should pay me for transportation of the table, storage, and the cleaning of it. Im so upset. Your thoughts?
I restored an antique table so I no longer need this oak table they gave me years ago.
The money isnt the point really. The point is I have my own son and I would much want him to keep the money and buy himself something with it. Being a parent myself I cant see how he can be so cheap.
