Resolved Question: How do you think i will do at my garage sale?
So i just worked all day today on setting up my garage sale. The reason why it took all day was because i have 6 furniture pieces and i cleaned them inside out. And i had a ton of piano books and i went through all of them and i arranged them by level and what not. And i also have tons of books for elementry students that would be great for homeschoolers, and i went through all of them and organized them. And i pretty much cleaned everything so everything looks nice. And right now im exasted, part of the reason i am exasted i because my mom (im only 15) kept bugging me about random stupid stuff that doesnt even pertan to the garage sale.
My garage sale isnt till this thursday, but i setted it up today because i will have only a few hours tomorrow to work on it. I still have tons of things to put sitckers on still UHHHH!!!! But i can handle it. The main reason i am doing this garage sale is because i need money, so i asked my parents if i do all the work except for the days of the garage sale (because you need more than one person to run it) i can get all the profit. Part of it is going in the bank depending on how much i make. But i have been working hard, going through my huge storage basement on what to sell and i worked really hard today setting everything up (with the exception of the furniture im not that strong) but then i cleaned everything up. I worked hard on making really nice signs, that you can clearly read while driving by. I actually made 2 one has the days and times and the other one says garage sale and our address and they are very readable not those stupid signs that are neon and are impossible to read while driving by. And our neighbor hood is off a busy street and you just follow our street and you will see our house (we are going to put up flags to draw people’s attention.)
We are doing this 3days 9 am to 4:30pm. Thursday, friday and saturday and i am wondering is this garage sale really going to be worth it? I am not selling anything that is junk. I am selling stuff that is useful and is well taken care of. Ive advertised on craigslist.com
