Resolved Question: Nesting…..anybody else doing the same to prepare for the baby?
Hello there all!
I’m 25 Weeks pregnant today and in the next couple of days I’m doing a MASSIVE clean out of the house so that everything has its place, and everything is ready for when Bub is here.
It’s called nesting I hear!
Cleaning out clothes I no longer want, giving away books I no longer want as my sister gave me two boxes of them that sit around, cleaning out the bathroom, all the products we’re not even using, throwing a whole lot of sheets, towels, pillows etc that we’re not using etc. (Giving to needy rather than throwing away though)
Also as the baby furniture has been added to the house, other stuff originally in its place is to go to the mother-in-laws to store in her garage as they have no other place to fit here and they’re just piled in the spare room. I’ve also ordered a filing cabinet so i can organise and file everything for the new business we’ve started this year.
Doing all this will free up space in the cupboards, wardrobes and storage cupboards for other things and for the more stuff we’re bound to collect after Bub is born!
Is anybody else feeling the urge to totally spring clean your house like that?
